28. Tyrants: Nero, Ivan, Louis XVI, Napoleon

Alex (Stephen Joffe) has just been made the hall monitor, giving him some power, which he thinks is really cool. Enter the Timeblazers, Jen (Heidi Leigh) and Sam (Mike Ackerman), who take him back in time to meet up some powerful tyrants, leaders with power who went too far. First they stop in ancient Rome, in 54 A.D., and meet up with Emperor Nero, whose mental instability made Rome an awful place to be while he was its leader. Next they meet up with Ivan the Terrible, who ruled Russia with an iron fist from 1533 to 1584. Then, in 1793, we see that Louis the XVI is blamed by the revolutionaries for their country's problems and is to become the last of the monarchs in France. This change led to the rise of Napoleon Bonaparte, who became so powerful he named himself Emperor of France, leading his country into battle after battle. For a while he was successful; however, after losses in Russia, then to the British at Waterloo, he was deposed. 05/10DE IJ 30 min.
