But she gets more than she could ever have wished for when she comes across a strange-looking craft in the wild. Fiddling with its controls, she accidentally starts it up. As it begins to dematerialize, a strangely dressed man, Mek (Anthony Wong), leaps in, while her brother Josh arrives just in time to see his sister vanish. The boat materializes in the Spellbinder world, where the Industrial revolution never happened and where a powerful group called the Spellbinders controls the population.
