Edmund Hartmann

Hartmann, Edmund

What’s so funny? Edmund Hartmann has spent a lifetime pursuing and answering that question, and we, the people, have been enjoying the results of his efforts with comedy for over 60 years. From The Paleface, with Bob Hope and Jane Russell, to two of the most memorable sitcoms of the 1960s, My Three Sons and Family Affair, this talented writer/producer has experienc-ed success after success in the world of comedy. He also wrote Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves, Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon, Sherlock Holmes and the Scarlet Claw, and co-wrote a number of Abbot and Costello comedies, including The Naughty Nineties. With such a tremendous background in show business it is no surprise that this is a wonderfully entertaining and informative interview with Mr. Hartmann. 98/07DE JSCA 30 min.
