Here we are introduced to the El Yunque National Forest, which is home to over 250 species of plants, and is named for the island's most well known mountain; it is maintained by the US Forest Service and has well maintained hiking trails, where you will see a wide variety of trees, plants and waterfalls; also, if you listen carefully, you will hear the sounds of the coqui, a tiny tree frog which is indigenous to Puerto Rico.
