Over the past 20 years allergies have increased dramatically, affecting a large number of school-age children. Dr. David Smallbone, M.D., guides us through this program that looks at health problems associated with allergies. In Part 1, we meet a mother and her teenage son who, after being diagnosed by Dr. McDonough, changed his diet and today no longer needs Ritalin to control his ADHD. In Part 2, Dr. Korth describes osteopathy; then we meet Jane Horn, her new baby, Jed, who experienced distress during his birth, and Dr. Martin Bowles, a Pediatric Osteopath, who explains the procedures used to relieve Jed's tension and possible trauma. Educational Psychologist Patricia Rouse guides us through this program on Dyslexia and Dyspraxia. We learn that Dyslexia is a learning disability, specifically in reading and spelling, while children with Dyspraxia have difficulty being in space, holding a pencil; also math skills and sport skills are affected. In Part 1, we meet Hilary Groves, her daughter Melissa, who has dyslexia, and Gillian Hindshaw, a Brain Gym Consultant and Instructor, who explains the benefits of and exercises involved with educational kinesiology. In Part 2, we meet Charlotte MacCaw, her son, Alexander, and Jessica Lough, a Neuro Development Therapist, whose behavioral therapy is helping the boy with his Dyspraxia. Vaccinations
