Originally trained to be an illustrator, Arthur had a keen eye for art; however, when he purchased a second-hand folding Brownie camera in 1929, he focused on photography, which became a passion that lasted his entire lifetime. Filmed at the Griffin Museum of Photography, this documentary is not only an insightful biography of New England’s "Photographer Laureate," it also is a touching memorial to this legendary artist who died at age 97, capturing a wonderful moment in time, his 96th birthday celebration.
